Visitors

A visitor visa for Canada allows someone to visit Canada for different purposes, such as for visiting a family member, attending a short course of study (less than six months), sightseeing in Canada, get medical treatment, attending a business meeting, etc. A visitor visa can be of single or multiple entries.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR VISIT VISA:

In order to be eligible to apply for a visit visa, you will have to satisfy the visa officer in respect of the following:

  1. You have a valid passport
  2. You are in good health
  3. You have sufficient funds and resources to pay for your trip to Canada
  4. You have sufficient social, economic, and family ties in your home country which will ensure your return home after your visit to Canada
  5. You have a specific address and contact person in Canada whom you will be visiting
  6. You plan to remain in Canada for a specific and limited period of time
  7. You intend to leave Canada at the end of your visit
  8. You have no intention to seek or undertake employment while in Canada
  9. You do not have a criminal record
  10. You do not pose a security risk

Some visa categories will require you to take a medical examination, such as a super visa for parents and grandparents.

SUPER VISA FOR PARENTS & GRANDPARENTS:

If you are a Canadian permanent resident or citizen, you may invite your parents or grandparents to Canada on Super Visa. This visa is for 10 years duration, with a maximum single stay of up to five (5) years in Canada. You will have to meet the minimum income level, and purchase at least one year's medical insurance in Canada for your parents. Your parents may also have to take a medical examination.

We assist our clients to prepare and submit a professionally drafted application which will increase their chances of success. For more details on Super Visa, please click here.
